Warm, earthy and just a little bright, Desert Ember™ Whipped Body Butter is a deeply nourishing botanical moisturizer created to soften dry skin while leaving it silky, smooth and beautifully conditioned.

This formula is an evolution of one of the very first products I created for Nomadic Healer. I kept the rich, comforting foundation I loved and elevated it with shea butter, mango butter and babassu oil for a lighter, silkier feel that melts effortlessly into the skin.

Unrefined cocoa butter gives Desert Ember its naturally warm, subtle chocolate aroma and provides a rich layer of moisture for dry skin. Shea and mango butters help soften and condition, while babassu and jojoba oils give the butter beautiful slip without leaving your skin feeling excessively heavy or greasy. A touch of arrowroot creates an even softer, velvety finish.

The Desert Ember Aroma

Instead of covering the natural scent of cocoa butter, I created the aroma around it.

Frankincense provides the warm, resinous heart of Desert Ember, while sweet orange and bergamot bring a fresh citrus brightness that complements the cocoa beautifully.

The result is warm and grounded with an unexpected spark of citrus — earthy, botanical and unmistakably Desert Ember.

How to Use

Scoop a small amount and warm between your hands. Massage into clean skin as needed. For an especially luxurious ritual, apply after a bath or shower while your skin is still slightly damp.
